OUR MISSION

Forwards' Mission

Give your vision a visible form, and move forward.

Forwards began by walking alongside community activities. We listen to the hopes of local governments, schools, community groups, and companies, sort out their challenges, and give them shape through design. That is our mission.

We do more than make ads and websites. From analysis and customer journey design to community partnerships, we engage with the real issues and propose a "system" that reliably brings our clients' services to the people who need them.

MESSAGE

Message from the CEO

Design that moves people, to bring about smiles in the future.

Design has the power to move people. And what people can picture vividly will surely come true.

Since I was 18, I have been involved in running community groups for children in the Tama area. I move toward the goal with the drive to draw out people's strengths and solve problems. Even after moving into the creative world, I use listening and coaching skills to bring projects to life, one by one.

ROOTS

Where Forwards Began

People feel uneasy about what they can't see.
That's why we give your vision a visible form and deliver it.

  1. When I was a kindergarten teacher
When I was a kindergarten teacher

    CHAPTER 01

I saw the principal's worries up close.

Seeing the principal struggle with recruiting children and dealing with parents, I wondered if there was something I could do to help. That was the beginning of everything.

  2. A local soccer club (250 members)

    CHAPTER 02

    The same worry, here too.

The local soccer club, where I had long played a central role in running things, faced the same worry. What they shared came down to one thing.

    People feel uneasy
    about what they can't see.
  3. An anniversary event at a Hino City public elementary school (what led me to start a business)

    CHAPTER 03

    Learning the essence of design.

I learned web technology, public relations, and PR, and meeting a top designer who lived nearby helped my work evolve into design that truly communicates.

Design is seen only for a moment.
    So it has to communicate
    in an instant.
  4. The marché I organize is always lively

    CHAPTER 04

The power to move people and change the future.

When our message reached parents and more children began to smile, I became convinced that design has the power to move people and change the future.

A system that conveys the appeal of local companies and organizations leads not only to business growth but also to a livelier community. Together with our clients, we create a future where everyone involved can smile.
